(A) Current status of home warehouse management
At the moment, large scale military or civil warehouses at home general adopt the following management pattern: different storerooms are used to store different goods, which are ran by several administrators; meanwhile, the keys to all the storerooms are concentrated, hand registration and keeping in the archives are required when the administrators take or return the key, which is called “ multi storerooms, multi personnel, concentrating in the end” management pattern. The pattern has its disadvantages: hand registration procedure is troublesome, uncertainty of the key’s possession, delay of the feedback to the key management information, which can easily cause management misplay.

(B) Introduction to the control system of the key’s intelligent management
Aiming at the above mentioned cases, our company developed the control system of the key’s intelligent management composed of computer, programmable controller and slight-operation switch examining system. It is a sub-system of warehouse management system and successfully adopted in many big national warehouses.
This control system of the key’s intelligent management has the following functions:
★ Status inspecting function
The system can inspect the status of the cabinet’s door and the key, controlling in time the location of the cabinet and the key.

★Automatically memorizing record function
The process of the key’s taking out and return is: First, the system confirms the identity and responsibility of the warehouse administer by reading the IC card held by them, then it send the concerning information to the higher administer by network. Finally, the system open the door automatically in limited time according to superior’s confirm instruction coming from the network and move the electromagnet which corresponds with the required key to take out or return the key. Meanwhile, the control computer makes record automatically.

★Expandable function
One set of key cabinet can manage 30 keys and can be expanded to several key cabinets working together.

★Mechanical structure security function
The mechanical structure adopts new type of lock with high security: there are many magnets embedded in the lock, which alveolus are different to copy; every lock has an additional core put in the key cabinet; jiggle switches and electrical magnets are installed in the specially-designed parts of the structure.

★Manual function while power cutting
The system’s switch manipulated by special key can be operated manually to take out or return the key when there are some troubles with the computer.
